Hi All,
Please note we have some changes to shooting at the Scouts Hall in Conisbrough and Howell Wood near South Kirby. We will now only be shooting at the Scouts Hall once a month.

We will shoot every 1st Tuesday of the month in winter (Oct to Mar) So it will be: 7th FEB & 6TH MAR for the next two months.

We will be considering an evening shoot at Howell wood from Apr - Sep.

Please keep an eye out for more updates.

Hi All,

I'm informing you all that after a committee meeting and issues raised from member we have changed a few items and re-enforced some for shooting:

1.Please note that the shooting times for Winter have changed. We will now shoot at Howell Wood from 10:30am till 15:00pm (light permitting) Members with any equipment will have to be on site at 10:00am.

2.Driving into the wood is no longer permitted. Please park in the car park with other users in mind.

3.Safety.
A. The use of 'Fast' and Whistles explain again to all members.
B. Children to be supervised by their parents.
C. Smoking to be done on fire break (under the oak tree near bin.)

4. Scouts evening shoots - details will be advised as soon as possible. Proposed day Tuesday evening.

Woods clearing

Clearing of the rhododendron is coming along. Great progress has been made this week.
The 1st two bosses have been put in place and hopefully we will be shooting in the wood very soon
thanks go out to all who have helped with the work so far but for those who have seen the wood will know there is still a lot of work to do.
If work continues at the same rate we may have a complete course by Christmas.

New Shoot Ground

After many months of hard work from members of the club, dealing with phone calls, emails, letters and driving around at their own expense, the club has found a new shoot ground. The committee members have been hard at work over the last week clearing some parts of the new ground to make it possible to start putting bosses out soon. This will then make it very easy for all the club to move to the new ground and start shooting.
Hopefully we will be moving within the next 2 weeks.
The work will by no means be completed in that short time scale and will take many more months to clear a complete course through the area.
We are initially aiming to lay an 18 shot course, that we can use, with the intention of expanding as time and funds allow.
At the moment we are not revealing the location as some talks are taking place while the initial work is being done but once we are ready to start using the new location directions will be given to everyone.
If you are keen to help out with the hard work ahead please inform Paul Davis or Karen Critchley and i am sure they will let you know what dates work is being carried out.

The Blue Area is our practice zone.
The Green Area will be for administration.
The Red Area will be the main shoot area.

The practice area is almost cleared ready for 4 bosses to be placed.
The administration area needs no initial work from us at all.
The main shoot area will need the most work and will take a while to complete and will also evolve with time.

Possible new home for the club

We had our first site meeting with representatives from the Forestry Commission on the 17th. They appeared to be happy with the area of woodland we had proposed to them for our use for Field Archery. The ball has started rolling and hopefully its not too long before we can start to use the site.

Castle bowmen open shoot 16th january 2011

Three of the club members went to castle bowmen's open shoot to clear the winter cobwebs from their bows.
Unusual shoot rules were imposed as only 2 arrows were allowed to be shot per target.
The course had some challenging and very interesting shots, some of which were extremely difficult to see if you were of a shorter stature.
Congratulations to both Karen & Cath who both came 2nd in class and I just missed out on the awards with a 4th place. The worst I've shot in this class.
Looking forward to the next open.

Well its that time of year again and so we're having a Christmas shoot at the scout hut on 28th Jan from 2pm.
This time to make it safe just in case anyone wants to enjoy the Christmas spirit we are using a Nintendo wii and either Sports Resort or Medieval Games or even Links Crossbow Trainer if I can get it back from my nephew in time.
There will be an adult and a junior prize but what they are is as yet undecided.

Sabden Fold Open Shoot

Sabden Fold 31^st October 2010

Hmmm 6 o’clock in the morning alarm clock rings, forgot to put the thing back an hour. Reset the time and back to sleep for another hour. 6 o’clock again time to get up, washed, dressed, breakfast, packed car and off over the Pennines heading for Sabden Fold. 110 miles to go on a cold misty morning.

The journey was hindered by thick fog as we traversed through the moors between Yorkshire and Lancashire. We finally arrived at Sabden Fold at 9.50am, 10 minutes before the shoot was due to start, quick dash to registration and gearing up ready for the start. Thankfully the sky had cleared and the mist had lifted by the time we arrived giving us a bright clear day for the shoot.

The shoot was a 2 x 20 round, with big game scoring consisting of mainly 2D’s and paper faces. We were to start on target 20. The archers were led out onto the course, we were lucky target 20 was just below the tea cabin/registration point and shooting commenced at 10.15am.

We were paired up with father and son Glen and Joe Wood who were both shooting Hunting Tackle while we were both shooting Compound Limited. Our 1^st target was a downhill shot to a paper face of a duck on water on the edge of a babbling brook, a nice picturesque start to the day. After retrieving our arrows we had to cross the brook using a small steel mesh bridge this is where the only incident of the day occurred when Joe suddenly fell through the bridge. Luckily Joe was uninjured by this and able to continue; the incident was reported to a shoot marshal and the following group. We continued on to target 1 and target 2 without incident. The route to target 3 was along a narrow path at the top of a steep bank above the babbling brook 20 feet below us.

We followed the course around with some very interestingly placed shots where it helped if you were part mountain goat with lots of ups and downs on a loose hillside until we arrived at target 10 where there was a hold up with 2 groups in front of us still waiting to shoot this target when we arrived. This was a lovely long shot around 60 yards along the ravine which had to be crossed twice to retrieve arrows and then once more to continue to the next target luckily we didn’t get wet feet but the ground was very boggy around the edge of the stream that meandered along the bottom of the ravine. It was on this target that Paul had his only loss of the day when his 2^nd arrow hit and split a rock bending his arrow in the process, nothing that can’t be straightened, Joe was very surprised the arrow had split a rock in two. Then up the hill to the highest target of the course then back down to target 12.

Target 12, what can we say, it was a horrible shot, 30 feet downhill over the 2^nd stream on the course shooting from the edge of a ledge with only the shooting pegs to stop you falling off and down into the bottom of the ravine, most archers had to twist themselves as the shot a little too much to the left for comfort. Targets 13 and 14 were both shot from the edge of the stream over to the far bank then it was over the stream and up the hill to 15 and 16.

Target 16 was about 40 yards and slightly downhill to where the two streams merged and became the brook we had to cross the stream to collect arrows then through a small plantation of fir trees and across the brook and up the hill to target 17 which was a short shot then along the top of the hill to our last two targets and then back down the hill and over the brook for lunch. Round one finished at 12.45pm.

Lunch break was about 45 minutes and there was a good range of hot food available along with tea, coffee and cold drinks and even Apple Pie and Cream!

1.30 came and we went out again for the start of round two starting at target 20 again, happily the bridge had been repaired. We were incident free until target 9 where Glen managed to hit a tree and break an arrow on his first shot. Target 10 had been altered slightly where the red peg had been moved forward alongside the white peg, reducing the initial shot by about 8 yards shortening the queue considerably.

Thing were fairly uneventful until we reached target 16 again where Glen overshot the boss and disappeared through the trees and shattered on rocks in the brook by the bridge used to get over to target 17. The remainder of the shoot was straightforward until we finished about 4pm, where we adjourned for a much welcome cup of tea and handed in our score cards (shocked to find that we had managed to finish on exactly the same score) and awaited the results.

Prize giving over and a 1^st place medal in Cath’s pocket, it was back to the car for the long journey home before the roads were closed around Pendle Hill for the Halloween celebrations.

Lyme Valley August 8 2010

A 6:30am wakeup call on a bright, sunny morning heralded the start of my first field shoot. And what an amazing course to choose to take my Field Archery virginity on.

Lyme Valley, for those unfamiliar, is set in the midst of prime Staffordshire woodland; the course laid out along a narrow valley that follows a gentle winding brook. Never having shot a field course before I have very little to compare it against, but I felt each target was well placed, the pegs were challenging and the progressions were good.

Karen and I both started well, although I had the best of it, and by halfway we were some 30 points apart; I on 242 with my Longbow and Karen not far behind on 210 with her Hunting Tackle recurve.

Lunch intervened at 1pm, seeing us just over half way round the 36 mixed big game and 3D’s. When we got back underway at 1:45 we feared that relaxed muscles would have grown stiff through lack of use, but as it turned out we both started the afternoon well-24’s for the both of us and a raft of 20’s. Unfortunately for me though, that was as good as it got. On the run in to the final targets my luck deserted me entirely and I blanked the last two.

Dropping so many points on the run-in and with Karen shooting her personal best, it was hardly surprising that at the end of the day we closed with me on 470 and Karen on 484; both personal bests and Karen doing especially well with no blanks.

The only gripe we had during the day, and this was not a reflection on the course itself, was that several groups took excessive time to move through the course. These seemed mainly to be what others in our group called ‘twiddlers’... otherwise known as compound archers and freestyle archers to us laymen...

One group in particular was made up entirely of these twiddlers, which made progression on the long shots very slow. But considering all that, a great day was had by all and many commented that it was the best day Lyme Valley had put on. As it was my first I could hardly deny that claim.

Heritage Open Day

Firstly thanks to everyone that helped out with the shoot on 12th September.

Must say the weather was very good and we dealt with over 500 members of the public throughout the day and hardly having a moment to ourselves.

Shows what can be achieved with only 10 days notice with only 2 minor incidents happening all day and they where dealt with with speed and professionalism.

Thanks again and a pat on the back to all.

We should expect to see some new members arise from this as many people showed an interest in joining the club as the enjoyed their time with us during the day.

It was our best weekend to date! Two beautiful days full of sunshine and fun! Both CCA's and visitors seemed to have a good time and 'Faline' (Bambi's Girlfriend) was loved by all because if you hit her, her head fell off!! (the children found this very entertaining and of course I did too)

Last Minute 'Have A Go' Archery Day

Hi All,

I'd just like to thank all who helped at the Last Minute 'Have a Go' Archery day yesterday and to the people that offered there time also.

Sorry for the short notice but there was an event on this weekend however the 'what ho Henry' actors/ess were in a car accident and so had to cancel the Saturday and maybe the Sunday also the Keeps power was down so to try and make sure there was something on at the castle the CCA came the rescue!

Thankfully the ‘what ho Henry’ cast are all ok and not major injuries! but the Keeps power is still down. Overall we had a wicked day and got some more pennies for the Club.

No rain No sun burn (apart from Newbie Johnathan who burnt his neck) but lots of fun and giggles!

So Big thanks too!

Hi All,

Just a quick note to say Thank you! to all that helped on the May 'Have A Go's'.

On both days we had WICKED weather! The sun was out, the wind was cool and the days were busy (well Sunday was very busy as we was run off our feet however Saturday was the calm before the storm.)

Overall a very good weekend enjoyed by the public and members! We even had an ex-Olympic archer shooting from Oz!

All I can say is roll on the 8th and 9th August for the next one!

‘Have-a-Go’ on 12th April

Thank you to all members on the Club that helped out at the Jorvik ‘Have-a-go’ in the City of York on the 12TH April.

The day was great fun for all with lots of visitor’s from all nationals trying out the fine art of Archery!

We even had some local Viking’s showing their skills with their bows in between battles and shows. We have a few photo's from the day on our Facebook group (Archery - Conisbrough Castle Archers) if you want to have a look.

Fingers crossed for more days in the Museum Gardens with Jorvik in the future.

Dont forget that we have another 'Have-a-go' at Conisbrough Castle on the 3rd and 4th May from 9.30am till 5.30pm so if your free come and join the fun.

Jorvik Viking Festival

Well some of us did turn up in York to do the Have a Go Archery session at the Jorvik Viking Festival.

The day was fantastic and enjoyed by all.

The Jorvik Centre contacted us at short notice after being let down by a third party.

This has given us a good lead with a large company with possible future events with them.

Jorvik managment were extremely satisfied with what we did for them.

Rain Spoils Day

Sorry guys but tonight's shooting has been cancelled due to the heavy rain and water logged grounds. I will be working on the indoor shoot venue this week as the weather is turning against us.

On a lighter note, all the missing equipment has been replaced and extended.

We did suffer loss of some equipment but hey ho. Thats life.

The Club has still got enough equipment for all to use, and items are being replaced as quick as possible. At the moment we are short 1 recurve bow.

From 8th July shooting resumes at the castle for those people with their Own Equipment. Unfortunately the Club Owned Bows & Arrows are not available, due to another break in at the castle store, these have been moved to another location until further notice.

At the moment archery at the castle has been suspended until further notice.

Sorry to all this effects, but it is the mindless idiots that have plagued the castle over the last few years that have imposed this upon us all.

Just a quick note to remind all concerned that your N.A.F.S. membership / insurance is due for renewal at the end of March. Some people have already completed the forms and paid the club so that the can be renewed in a block as we have done in past years.
The last day the club meets before the end of the March is Tuesday 25th so if you want the club to deal with your renewal please have you forms and payment returned to the club no later than this date as the renewals will be posted not later than the 27th.

News from Castle Owners

We have been made aware that the owners of the castle have decided that the way the Castle is managed will be changed. On first discussion it would seem that this will not effect the Archery Club or its use of the facilities.
The changes are going to be in effect from Tuesday 1st April 2008.
For those with long memories you will recall a similar issue was raised in November 2006 and if you look through the archive on here you can follow the progress. This latest news stems from that initial concern but we have thus far been assured the club will not be affected.

OK this is the second update to the website in the last few days, I hope you like it.

Just to let you all know, Nikki, Mark and myself have approached local businesses with the hope of gaining somewhere indoors to shoot over winter. So far we have not been successful but will continue to enquire around. If you know somewhere that may be interested let us know and we will approach them.

Ok, simple question. What's happening on Tuesday nights ?
Yet again last week we had a good turn out for the floodlit shooting at the Castle. However, YET AGAIN, it was the same few people who carried all the equipment up into the castle and set it up for everyone to use.
YET AGAIN, this was being done while some members were stood round in the bailey of the Castle just watching and even setting up their own bows !
Sorry, guys but this is not on.
Even worse, when it came to taking all the equipment down again, it was left to initially FOUR people to do all the work. Thanks here go to Mark and Nikki who actually stayed on to help despite having a prior appointment elsewhere - making them late for that appointment. Thanks also to Kip who returned to the Castle to help as well.
Even with this dedicated help, it was still left to only seven people to take down all the equipment that had been used throughout the night by OVER TWENTY PEOPLE !!!

Simple fact is, this is supposed to be a Club. NOT somewhere where the same few people do all the work for everyone else. So if you intend shooting, as a Club member, at the Castle in future GET INVOLVED. Don't just expect that you can stand about and watch someone else do all the work because this simply won't happen in future.

This will go one of two ways.
Either people help, or the Club will change to restricted membership and only those that work shoot.

It should be obvious to everyone which choice the Committee prefer.
We set this Club up for the enjoyment of everyone who is interested.
Is it too much to ask that people simply help out more ?

Well some of us turn up to shoot when its warm, dry and dark. 4 of us actually.

It would seem the majority of you want to shoot when it cold, dark and wet.

There just does not seem a way to please people these days.

Maybe next week I wont bother turning up for a change then see what happens.

OK here is a date for you all to take note of if you want to meet up with fellow club members for a chat, bite to eat etc.

Saturday 15th December

Meet at the Castle Visitor Centre form 6.00pm

Bring you own food and drink and that way it wont cost the club too much to organise. It will also stop the 'I don't like that' or ' I only eat ......' you know what you like so if you fetch it it is guaranteed you will like it.

If you could let the club know you want to come then we will have an idea of numbers to cater for you can even fetch a guest or two.

This was an email sent to us after Nikki and myself helped to entertain them and their guests at their wedding.
This was done by providing 'Have a Go Archery' at the wedding reception for the happy couple. The guests were also competing against each other for the 'Golden Arrow' which was presented to the person who had the highest score at the first attempt at archery on the day. The prize was awarded later into the festivities after the guests had eaten and the fun and games continued into the night.

Dark Nights Are Approaching

Well it would appear that the nights are getting longer as we draw further into the colder months of the year.
This however has not stopped you from coming along and shooting in and evening. Last night was the first time this year that we had to put the flood lights on at the castle. and we were shooting until about 9:30 pm. It was a nice mild, clear night with a full moon adding to the atmosphere of the place and every one here enjoyed the evening. Most of you had not shoot under these conditions before and you all commented on how different it was and how much you enjoyed it more.

It's very strange the things you can find the morning after a night of shooting and this morning was no exception to that. A list of items found this morning is below.

2 nocks were found 1 orange and 1 black
2 fletchings were found 1 black and 1 blue

Common items to be found I know but the most bizarre thing to find was a 'Black Detachable Shoulder Strap form a Bra'

Would the owner of said item please like to explain how they lost this in the first place and how you didn't notice that you lost it!! Could it just be a case of you may be embarrassed to say that it was yours?

Mention of having a Party before Christmas was being bantered about by several members over the last few days and the suggestion of having a BBQ at the castle one evening may be the better option. Food, Drinks, Good Company ( allegedly ) at the place you like be at. Doing this would keep the costs down and also means everyone can come along. i.e. no age restrictions.

What do you think? This will also be put out in a news letter to all soon, for the benefit of those that don't check here often enough. It will also be mentioned at the next few shoot nights.

After the rove shoot a few weeks ago now, several awards have be put together for some of the people that took part and the party would be a good place for them to be presented.

Roving Shoot - The Star Inn. Moss

A fantastic evening was had by all who attended our first shoot away from the Castle. Some of us lost arrows but to be honest that's all part of the game. At one point we lost Brian and considered offering a reward for his safe return, but he actually came out of the bushes on his own before it got too dark (or he got arrested !)

We were at one point overflown by a WWII DC3 and some people considered trying to shoot it down, until it was pointed out that 1. he was on our side and 2. Brian would loose even more arrows !

Everyone agreed how different the roving shoot was compared to our normal shooting at the Castle and I can imagine our next roving shoot will again be well attended.

The Star Inn is an excellent venue and both the Landlord and Landlady were happy to have us there, and said we would deffinately be welcome again.
We would like to offer our sincere thanks to both of them for their hospitality.

Our night ended with a drink or two and a fantastic meal that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
CC Archers would deffinately recommend The Star Inn, Moss for the food alone, let alone everything else.

Results of the competition...

Winner with the most points - Josh, cash prize awarded by the Club.

Member who made a close and intense study of the areas flora and fauna - Brian, prizes to be awarded later - book on botany and also an indepth study of search and rescue techniques.

Member who not only shot arrows that landed close - ish to the target area, but also in several adjacent fields - Mark Taylor, cub scout explorer badge to be awarded later.

Member who helped protect the next farm by providing a new lightning conductor on his barn roof - Mark Wilson, free eye test to be provided at a later date. (Still can't hit the broadside of a barn !)

First member to nail the largest tree on site - Kip, to be awarded lessons on the difference between very big trees and small poles with red flags.

Member who not only missed the poles - but also the trees, the grass and even the dry land - Brian, underwater artillery badge to be designed and awaded later.

Several people also need a mention as they complained about bad light stopping play - flares to be provided at the next evening shoot - and no we don't mean big 1970's trousers! Consideration will also be made to the Club purchasing flourescent arrows, several banks of floodlights and especially for Brian - arrows on long string.

Severe Weather

Due to weather over the last 48 hours tonights shooting has been cancelled.

The grounds at the pub are under 8 inches of water, and most of the roads around the area are closed due to the floods.

Shooting at the castle will resume next Tuesday, most of you have already phoned to say you are staying in today.

The pub shoot will be arranged for the near future.

Hopefully if the floods subside I won't need a boat to get back home and Mark won't need one to get away from his front door.

Hope you all escape the ingress of water and see you all soon.

Well it been a while since we last had an entry on the blog, but I think that's because we have all been to busy enjoying the shooting of late or tied down with more mundane events.

Well some new updates to the web site have been posted this morning hope you like them, mainly pictures but the odd new link has also been added.

New members have been joining over the past few weeks and we are at the point where we need to purchase more equipment so people can shoot without havind to wait around for a bow to be free. We purchased 100 new carbon arrows for the club back in April and these have been found better than the wooden ones we have started to replace.

More targets are needed rather soon and we have found a supplier who has reasonable prices for 3D's, (for those who are unsure these are full size replicas of real animals), they start from £20.

The Roving shoot should be taking place on 26th June and help will required to set up the course on the day, volunteers please!
Don't forget this also involves having a meal at the pub at the end.
Ideas for a prize are most welcome.

How about Popinjay for an evening event later in the summer?

Well now the clocks have been changed the evenings are getting lighter and we are getting busier so we once again have moved into the castle and should be there until winter again comes to spoil the fun.

For those of you who may be interested i have been told of 3 open shoots less than 20 miles away from our home ground, and can assure you that this woodland is very good for a days shoot. I should have prices and dates for next Tuesday so if you are interested ask me about them then.

Spring is Here

Well after last Tuesday evenings shoot in the cold wind, with the odd flury of snow, we hope the weather is going to improve over the next comming weeks. Thanks go out to those hardened folks who braved the weather that evening.

Due to the increase in attendance of late we will be back inside the castle this Tuesday and I will be here from 4.00pm onwards so get here when you can.

Hopefully we will be holding a rove shoot in June, date to be confirmed but wheels have been set in motion, this will also involve having a meal at the pub that own the land we will be using.

Since the AGM the suggested outlay has been spent, we have purchased a smaller, lighter recurve and 100 new carbon fibre arrows. After checking out a new supplier we managed to gain a 20% discount on the arrows which saved us almost enough to obtain a new ballistic net.

Change to Committee

Due to changes in employment and other personal commitments Rebecca has had to resign from the position of club secretary, we wish her the best of look with her new employer and thank her for her support with the club to date.

After a brief consultation with the members who attended last Tuesday evenings shoot, two members were appointed to the committee that evening.

Congratulations to Paul and Chantel for standing and accepting the positions of Secretary and Assistant Secretary respectively.

CONCERNS OVER TOURIST ATTRACTION QUASHED

DONCASTER Council will continue to pay for the running of Conisbrough Castlefor at least three more years, it was decided yesterday.
Fears that the council was to axe funding for the 800-year-old touristattraction were quashed at yesterday's meeting of DMBC's ruling cabinet,although the council will demand that the Ivanhoe Trust tightens up the existing management structure of the castle.For the past 20 years the site has been managed by the council-funded Trust. But this summer it was revealed that the council was considering handing over the running of the castle to English Heritage. At the time councillors pledged there would be no job cuts and denied claims that the castle's visitor centre was to be pulled down and local events would be scrapped. Under the new arrangement, backed by the council's Safer Stronger and Sustainable Communities Scrutiny Panel, financial support will be provided by the Council to the Ivanhoe Trust for the next three years for the purpose of operating the site as a visitor attraction and educational resource. However, it was recommended that this be subject to the development of aclear business plan and a new funding agreement that provides clarificationon the role and expectations of the Trust. There will be defined outcomes to be achieved and linked to an annual review of performance. It was also decided to set up a local management agreement to clearly identify the roles and responsibilities and legal obligations of the Ivanhoe Trust, Doncaster Council and English Heritage. There was also a need for the Trust Board to include a senior Council officer in addition to current Council representation. It was suggested that this role could be operated by the Local Area Manager. The news ends months of speculation over the castle's future which have left the attraction in limbo, with no manager currently in post and all future plans on hold. Cabinet members considered two alternative options before making their decision yesterday.The first was to withdraw funding and hand over the running of the site to English Heritage - a move which would have seen the castle's visitor centre torn down. The council also looked at the option of taking over the management of the castle itself, in an arrangement similar to that at Cusworth Hall.

Price Increase for Insurance

Well I'm sorry to have to pass this on but the NFAS membership has been increased for next year.
There is a little good news to go with this, instead of the membership running from 1st January to 31st December, as it has been for many years, it has been extended out to 31st March 2008.

This increase was decided during the NFAS AGM along with other changes and amendments. Please check the NFAS website for full details.

One change that will affect us is the change of the membership secretary this means that all existing NFAS membership forms show incorrect details. A new form has been attained and will be available to all at the next shoot.

Those of you that have already passed their forms and payments to me will owe me the difference from these increases as I have personally met the shortfall.

Archery Club Under Threat?

It would appear not!
Since the last post regarding this matter the council have held a scrutiny meeting and it appears that the castle will continue to be operated as before, with further investment put into the project.
What does this mean?
Provided these proposals are approved during a Cabinet Meeting later this month, the castle will continue to operate as it has for several years with further improvements to the facilities currently available.
To us this means we should be able to continue using this venue as we use it at the moment but this will have to be confirmed with the new management structure that will be controlling the use of the premises, but at the moment thing are looking good for everyone who has, does and will use the castle.

Practice is also available for those wanting to loose arrows.

After just short of FOUR HOURS work, we now have a new logo at the top of this Blog site.

Sorry I could not make it to the meeting. But congratulations to Becka on attaining the position of secretary. Thanks also to Mick for allowing us the use of a generator. Could you all start collecting Tesco Sports for schools and clubs vouchers as we are now registered with them and it should help us get some useful equipment if we save enough.
As you should all now be aware we will only be shooting on Tuesday evenings for the winter. This may change if we find a suitable indoor venue.
Any volunteers to help create a web site or is it down to Mark and myself to create and maintain it.
